Skype's "It's Time for Skype" campaign
This was Skype's first big campaign. It launched at a time when engineering was focused on architectural, so there wasn't going to be a lot of new product releases. We decided to take Skype's original disruptor spirit and put it in the early marketing for this campaign. (We warmed things up as the campaign continued.) We took over London's Bank underground station with our messaging, pushing people back to face-to-face conversation (over Skype).
