I live in Daly City, so when an opportunity arose where I could help Daly City Public Library Associates, who supports the local libraries, how could I refuse? I provided web, technology, and a bit of marketing assistance. The tech side of things was steering them away from various email and hosting solutions and onto Google Workspace for Nonprofits for the organization and a more modern, simplified hosting setup. (They’re saving a ton!)
I’d inherited something covered in many layers of paint, and we’d agreed to take some time to rebuild everything from scratch instead of adding yet another layer. Now the site is easy to maintain, and the organization has its own centralized storage (for assets), calendars, and emails.
