Skype + Lady Gaga
On the left is the website design proposed by Live Nation for our sponsorship of the Born This Way Ball tour. Lady Gaga was using space castles and tons of black. Skype's brand was clouds & rainbow, which could not be further away. So I ended up scrapping the whole direction & redesigning it. The one thing we had in common was a love of our fans, so I came up with a design (right) to put the Little Monsters in the middle and celebrate them. It was a crushing amount of work in a very short time, but we pulled it off.
And then I slept for a month.
